SIKAP PESERTA DIDIK NON MUSLIM PADA MATA PELAJARANPENDIDIKAN AGAMA ISLAM DI SMA AL-FATAH YPKP SENTANIKABUPATEN JAYAPURA

Abstract

The objectives of this study are: (1) To describe the attitude of non-Muslim students towards Islamic religious education lessons at SMA Al Fatah YPKP Sentani Jayapura Regency (2) To determine the implementation of Islamic Religious Education for Non-Muslim students at SMA Al Fatah YPKP Sentani Jayapura Regency. The type of research is a qualitative field research (field research) using the following research methods: (1) The technique of collecting data sources is by purposive sampling and snowball sampling. (2) The type of data source is primary data, namely primary data sourced from school principals, Islamic religious education teachers and non-Muslim students and secondary data, namely supporting data sourced from documents and books (3) The research instrument is the researcher himself as a key instrument, (4) Data collection techniques by means of observation, interviews and documentation. (5) The results of this study are: (1) Description of the attitudes of non- Muslim students towards learning Islamic Religious Education at SMA Al Fatah YPKP Sentani Jayapura Regency in general, non-Muslim students accept it well on the grounds that non-Muslim students know and understand that SMA Al Fatah YPKP Sentani Jayapura is an Islamic foundation, and in the learning process, as in general, other students are active and some are less active. (2). The implementation of Islamic Religious Education for non-Muslim students at SMA Al Fatah YPKP Sentani, Jayapura Regency, the reference is the same as for other Muslim students, consisting of three stages, namely planning, method, and evaluation.
